Troops are advised to reserve 30 to 60 days in advance, especially during spring and autumn peak camp seasons.

All BSG campsites operate as pristine ecological sanctuaries. Every camper pledges to respect nature, protect indigenous wildlife, conserve freshwater streams, and leave each camping pitch cleaner than they found it.
All troops completing a camp without environmental violations receive an official BSG Green Troop citation.
